Presima is dedicated to implementing industry best practices regarding responsible investing into its investment and client reporting processes. To help achieve this goal, an environmental, social and governance (ESG) committee has been established comprised of members from various functional areas within Presima. The committee's role is to research, propose and implement initiatives in line with Presima's beliefs surrounding ESG issues.

To this effect, Presima has adopted corporate guidelines which enshrine its beliefs, incorporate ESG issues into its investment process and promote the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) initiatives with its stakeholders.

  • We will be active owners and incorporate ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices
  • We will seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest
  • We will promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry
  • We will work together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the Principles
  • We will each report on our activities and progress towards implementing the Principles
