Compliance
Presima has developed a compliance manual that meets the requirements of the various financial market authorities. This manual describes Presima's internal policies and procedures. Presima also follows the code of professional conduct of the CFA Institute, of which several of its employees are members.

Code of ethics
Presima observes its own code of ethics. As a member of the network of companies affiliated with the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Presima gives special attention to these guidelines.

Investment Committee
Our portfolio management team meets several times a week to discuss Presima’s investment strategies, which are the Global Relative Return Strategy, the Global ex-US Relative Return Strategy, the Emerging Real Estate Securities. Among other things, these meetings aim at reviewing portfolio positions; setting return targets for all real estate securities selected by Presima; highlighting changes to be made to the portfolios; reviewing the economic and real estate situations of each region; and following up on geographical allocations. Furthermore, they are an opportunity for participants to share information gathered during conference calls, trips abroad or through meetings with company managers.

Our portfolio management team also holds regular meetings to analyze and evaluate risks inherent to active portfolio management. Geographical allocation targets are reviewed or re-evaluated, in the light of relevant macro-economic contexts.

Board of Directors
Presima's Board of Directors ensures that the company is managed according to its guidelines and takes the necessary steps to attain the Company’s business plan objectives.

The Board examines and approves company policies and key strategic moves. It oversees the delegation of responsibilities, and reviews operational activities and internal management reports.

Just like any other Board of Directors, it is called upon to deal with any operation, case or decision that requires its special attention. Presima’s Board comprises seasoned professionals with complementary skills and experience.
